I don’t know why I come back here, have not for a while - didn't even look at the last time i had posted cause whatever I wrote about probably doesn’t matter. All of it was a longtime ago and since so many songs sang, albums shared, peaches eaten, pictures taken, memories forgotten, alpine forests felt, people met, saved and then forgot again, lands visited, oceans, mountains climbed, trains taken, miles driven, altitudes flown, walls painted, dirt roads, service roads, fire lines, ferry's forged, countryside tilled and, fruits picked, rooted veggies harvested, camp fires played, 5 strings, inches grown (sabirna, saul, brook, elise, emmy, sarila!), postcards stamped, letter written, lawyers had, boots worn out, shoes worn, paths taken, working, working for rivers, dinners cooked- then shared, oil changes, bad Mexican food and then good Mexican food, immigration, agriculture and passport control, then flight attendants, airport security, highway patrol, tree/ awkward/ bow, tea and serious coffee (reminds me of SF in a way), and lot of not serious coffee - like every morning, loved ones, books read, early mornings, horseback, falling, felling, being, the feel of holding a two stroke engine for eight hours, sleeping bags, tents, couches, hostels, **hotels, loud loud bluegrass and even lounder punk, mom and dad brothers and sisters nieces and nephews cousins uncles aunts friends, new hampshire, vermont, maine, canada, rhode island, new york city, new york, Massachusetts, colorado, new mexico, utah, nevada, wyoming, idaho, california, ireland, belgium, holland, germany, spain, morocco, dublin, phila, davis, sanfrancisco, santa cruz, the excelsior, the presidio, Missouri, oklahoma, cali, colorado. its is somewhere i am everywhere.

Delipub started when local boys Sam Israel and Zach Robbins bumped into each other after more than eight years since their college degrees had elapsed. Both quickly realized that each shared a similar passion for interesting and exciting music that had only grown since they had last pow-wowed in the "Circle of the Smoke". After a few fits of MPC, guitar peddle-heavy recording sessions and an Animal Collective concert, they decided what needed to be done.

Delipub, the silly behemoth of high-school talent showgarage rock was birthed into form. Following in the footsteps of local heroes The Mummies and not so local hero Billy Childish, Delipub began recording the now legendary off-hours sessions. Drummer Eric Gatter was quick to join up after witnessing one of the group's first shows and has held it down since.

I know what you’re thinking, but no, the similarity of our names is just a coincidence. However, The Deli in no way minds being associated with Delipub- this band rocks, or should I say they “RocknRoll 9 to 5.” Think The Stokes mixed with The Stooges with a harder, blues-based attack and you might be on the right track. This is raw, energetic garage rock in its truest form. When I listen my feet and my skull are in total conflict as to boogie or head bang. But hey, who says you can’t do booth at the same time?

Honestly im more of a analogue guy when it comes to recording, but hey, I also used listen to Mr. Big (in high school). The point is, technology and music are meeting at a whole new marketplace, bigger than itunes, bigger than the cd turntable. After involvement in todays Avid "Make Your Mark” Seminar its clear that technology's partnership with the music world is at an all time high. Pure efficiency giving producers the ability to be instantly prolific, and most importantly, make a living. Were talking ringtones, wedding dee jays and carmen rizzo. Either way, this was fun (you can read more about it here)and I got to chill out with Josh (pictured) who's early work is so close to seeing the light. I cant wait.

Learning more about China than I thought possible. Really want to travel there in 2008 Gracie Kitty has come to rescue the minor mouse problem plaguing the Hariett St. neighborhood. Working closely with the Delipub project, better than before. Don't Cry Joe will have a website shortly, but probably no major buisness until 2008. I thought this might be something special I could try out, given the opportunity that it might provide an artist(s) space for public exhibition.

Beyond my backyard their is access to what is now an over grown garden/ space that is be viewed passer byers on Howard St., close to 7th

In my mind I have sculpture, in yours you may have something very different. Possibilities for installation are infinite.

With that said, I am open to any suggestion from artist who are interested in contributing to the process. I'm not an artist so to speak, but I can tell this space deserves this process.
